Towards the end of the day I spent in the southeast of Iceland I was thinking of taking some pictures at sunset in Vestrahorn, a very popular place by photographers, but I would have arrived too late. So I decided to stop at the Hvalnes lighthouse. Given the direction of the light I decided to turn my back on the lighthouse and photograph the mountains in front of it. The sun, low on the horizon filtering through the clouds, illuminated the mountains with a beautiful golden light. Just the time of a few shots and the magic is gone.
