Hverir Geothermal Area at Sunrise in Northeastern Iceland

Hverir is a geothermal area in Northeaster Iceland not far from Akureyri. When I saw this area for the first time, more than 20 years ago, I thought I was on Mars. In winter all the area is covered by snow except on this small volcano that spits steam. I came here again on December 2021 in the morning sunrise and the sky was wonderfully colored in all shades of red.
