In my five years working as a musician on cruise ships I had the chance and the good fortune to visit many beautiful countries. One of these was Oman, a country in terms of landscape very arid and barren but in some ways fascinating. This place is located in the northeastern tip of the United Arab Emirates but which is part of Oman even though it is completely detached from Oman itself. To get to this place, starting from the port of Khasab, you take a drive of just over an hour to get to this area from which you can admire the endless mountain ranges and intense colors ranging from yellow to brown, through ochre and orange.
