Sólfar / Sun Voyager is a famous stainless steel sculpture along the seafront in Reykjavík made by the icelandic artist Jón Gunnar Árnason. It is a dreamboat, an ode to the sun. It symbolizes the promise of undiscovered territory, a dream of hope, progress and freedom.

I took this photo in March 2022 in a cloudy and cold morning in Reykjavik seafront in Iceland. March and September are the best months to take photos in this place at sunrise because the sun rise up on the right side and illuminate the ship with its golden and warm light. But not every morning is the same. In this one the sky was cloudy and the sun didn't illuminate the ship and the scene was quite dramatic.
