Landmannalaugar (part 2)
There are several craters in the Landmannalaugar area, some with lakes inside, others without. The most famous crater without a lake is certainly the Stútur crater.
One of the best-known crater lakes is Hnausapollur, which is easily accessible by taking a detour from the main road leading to the campsite.
Ljótipollur, often translated as "the ugly puddle," is a stunning volcanic crater. Despite its somewhat unflattering name, Ljótipollur is renowned for its breathtaking beaut

Þórsmörk (Thorsmork)
Thorsmork is a magical lush oasis surrounded by glaciers and beautiful highlands located in the south of Iceland. It is a place with such magnificent beauty that no adjective can do it justice. But to reach the base camp you have to travel several kilometers of dirt road and cross many rivers, some of which are quite deep, especially the last one. From the base camp there are several paths, some of which can be covered in 3-4 days.

Jökulsárlón and Fjallsárlón Glacier Lagoons
Jökulsárlón is not just a visual spectacle; it’s also a rich ecosystem. The lagoon is home to various wildlife, including seals that can often be seen lounging on the icebergs and a variety of bird species that inhabit the area.
Fjallsárlón is often considered a quieter alternative to the more famous Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, providing a more intimate experience with nature.
